About Elise Richards

I completed my degree in BA Photography last year, graduating with First Class Honours.I am looking for work experience and job opportunities both in the fashion and TV/film industry that will put me in the right direction to pursue my career as a photographer. Throughout my years of education I have gained many transferable skills from part-time jobs in the hospitailty industry. I have gained confidence, learnt useful communication skills, how to work in a team as well as punctuality and using my initiative when working under pressure. I am hoping to pursue a career as a Unit Stills Photographer in the TV/Film industry and so I am actively seeking an entry-level opportunity to gain some experience and extend my knowledge of the industry.I have experience in using studio spaces and all the lighting equipment, as well as various cameras, from top of the range DSLRs, to large format film cameras. Due to the nature of my course at University, I have developed an eye for detail as this an essential part of editing, as well as photographing. Also, I have gained proficiency and confidence with Mac Computers and in all areas of Microsoft Office, as well as Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Lightroom, InDesign and Final Cut Pro. Along side this, my creativity has flourished and my improvisation skills have developed.
