About Elisha Rambin
Hello! My name is Elisha Rambin. I am a current Chemistry Teacher at Alliance Collins Family College Ready High School and a recent Teach For America alumni (served in the Los Angeles area in the incoming class of 2020). At my school site and through Teach For America, I have been able to work with underserved communities, complete anti-racist, equity, and inclusion workshops and trainings, provide accommodations for diverse learners, and collaborate with other educational leaders. I graduated with my Master's of Arts in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University in May 2022 and graduated with my Bachelor's of Science from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2018 where I majored in Biological Sciences with minors in Chemistry and Dance. I was involved in numerous organizations throughout my time at both universities and received numerous academic honors including graduating with highest honors. I am originally from Montgomery, AL, but currently live in Long Beach, CA. I am now excited to pursue a career in medicine to further serve and help meet the needs of systemically disadvantaged communities.
