Elissa is a servant leader and strategist who inspires, engages, empowers, and develops others with a passion for excellence in analytical problem solving, operational improvement and people leadership. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer for Port Coquitlam Senior Citizens Housing Society who operates Hawthorne Seniors Care Community, Elissa provides leadership over the entire Campus of Care, a total of 341 units of affordable as well as specialized accommodation to seniors across four locations. The Port Coquitlam Senior Citizens Housing Society is the largest single provider of residential services to seniors in the Tri-Cities area since 1958 when the organization was founded by a group of caring and visionary volunteers. We are proud to say that over the course of these five decades the name “Hawthorne” has become synonymous with quality accommodations and excellence in care for older adults. Prior to her role with Hawthorne, Elissa provided executive leadership at Bayshore Home Care Solutions. In this role she was accountable for the operational and financial performance of over 30 branch offices employing approximately registered and non-registered home care staff. A Business Information Technology integrator I understand how technology can be an enabler of improvement and efficiency if leveraged strategically into key areas of the business with a robust understanding of process and people.
