About Eliza Nolan

I was first introduced to the world of communications through an internship with Jane Street Entertainment. I loved how producers could see a final product before their work had begun. With a vision in mind, a producer works to put many different pieces together that ultimately build a final creation. Whether it be a television show, a newscast or a newsletter, producers have a vision that eventually becomes a work of art. I began my news career as a producer at WPTZ, moving on to produce at WHDH in Boston. A couple years later, I joined the team as a senior producer at Spectrum News in Syracuse. Six years into my television news career, an exciting opportunity came along to work for Capital Region BOCES as a Public Information Specialist. Using the writing, planning and leadership skills I've gained working across three newsrooms, I am now able to produce content for two Central New York school districts. I am proud to be a Syracuse University Alumna, and will forever bleed orange.
