Career highlights include service as a Massachusetts State Cabinet official/Senior Policy Advisor for Economic Affairs and Technology to two Governors; pioneer in the former Soviet Union's transition to a free-market economy, including launching Peace Corps in Kyiv and as a Moscow-based VC/tech investor; and a life commitment to community philanthropic leadership. 30 years' country-wide expertise in Ukraine. MBA from Harvard Business School, MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, and BA from Yale University. I'm a leader and mentor, proven at developing talent, building winning teams, conceiving startup and growth strategies, and delivering complex turnarounds. While planning and metric driven, I'm also highly effective in politically sensitive environments with numerous interwoven constituencies. I've been a director on many boards - private, public, and nonprofit - and possess strong strategic, functional, representational, governance, negotiation and communications skills. I love connecting people, institutions, and new ways of thinking.
