About Elizabeth Baldwin
I am a professional educator with more than 10 years classroom experience and a Masters degree in TESOL. I am currently a Lecturer at University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. I’m about to complete my 8th semester where I teach both credit and non-credit language and professional development to international students. I've taught all over the world, including in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. I spent five years teaching English as a Second Language at the Defense Language Institute campus on Sweihan Military Base. I taught servicemen and women English for Specific Purposes for military operations.I began my teaching career in the United States Peace Corps where I served as a high school English as a Foreign Language teacher for two years in Vidin, Bulgaria. During that time, I worked on several community outreach projects; such as, designing curriculum for an adult EFL course for the local municipality and teaching Cambridge Test preparation for the a local Non- Government Organization.
