About Elizabeth Codde

I believe Knowledge Management is the heartbeat of innovation. Over the last fifteen years I have been curating my role as a Knowledge Management professional. I hold a B.A. in Historical Research, and have completed several Master’s courses in Organizational Leadership. I am PMP Master Certified, a formally trained SCRUM Master, and (my personal favorite) a Certified Knowledge Manager. In my experience as a global organizational PM, SM, and KM, my takeaways are: Knowledge Management underpins every organization. It tells the why of the company, maintains mission, drives vision, develops culture, and, well, everything else. From collaboration with Engineering & QA teams to executives, HRBPs, and individual contributors, everyone has the same quintessential problem to solve - how do we manage and share what we know? Organizational goal planning, KPI initiatives, and global project teams are only as effective as the people's commitment to doing good KM. A learning organization - a learning group of people - is the key to successful practice and velocity. A great KMer is motivated by diverse teams and finds purpose by building trust and inspiring hope in every challenge, while delivering iterative learning and communication plans, CoPs, and driving awareness to valuable knowledge.
