As a Software Engineer my current role involves a growing focus on automation development and integration across a variety of tools. I specialise in streamlining processes across complex enterprise environments and teams, by building low-code and custom automation workflows that reduce manual effort and improve system efficiency. Previous to my current role, my focus was on building and maintaining robust backend micro-services using the Spring Boot ecosystem. My journey into tech began with the CodeFirstGirls Software Engineering NanoDegree, where I gained practical experience in JavaScript, Python, Agile methodologies, and cloud infrastructure. Prior to software engineering, I was the founder and director of Osmology, the UK’s leading online home fragrance retailer. This entrepreneurial experience sharpened my skills in e-commerce operations, business management, and low-code automation, and laid the foundation for my passion for using technology to drive strategic outcomes. With a unique blend of technical skill, automation expertise, and business acumen, I’m driven to build systems that are not only functional, but transformative. I thrive at the intersection of software engineering and automation — and am always exploring new ways to improve how people and systems work together.
