About Elizabeth Faust

With over 15 years of experience in the field of wound care, I am a passionate and dedicated professional who strives to provide high-quality and evidence-based services to patients, providers, and organizations. I am the owner of Lizzie Wounds, LLC, a consulting firm that offers a variety of services in legal case work, general consulting, speaking, research, and education in wound care. I am also a board member of The Save A Leg, Save A Life Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes limb salvage and wound healing. I hold the credentials of CRNP (Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner) and CWOCN-AP (Certified Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse-Advanced Practice). I also completed my MBA. My mission is to improve the outcomes and quality of life of people with wounds and related conditions, and to advance the knowledge and practice of wound care. As a CRNP/CWOCN at Tower Health, I have provided in-patient consultation for patients with wound, ostomy, or continence issues for more than 12 years. I have also been a resource for supply chain, pressure injury prevention, staff education, and product selection. I have collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, developed and implemented protocols and policies, and conducted research and quality improvement projects. I have used my skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and customer service to communicate effectively, manage data, and provide solutions. I have also participated in professional development activities, such as conferences, webinars, and publications, to keep up with the latest trends and innovations in wound care.
