About Elizabeth Ham

My favorite problems to solve involve transforming information from clinical literature into clear, actionable projects. I have worked on a range of health technologies, from software to medical devices to drug development. I combine my systematic engineering mindset with my breadth and depth of knowledge about medical technology. You can see this reflected in the work I have done- whether I am writing copy for a health startup’s website or setting up a research services agreement for a clinical research study. I like to think of myself as a microscope- able to zoom in to small details and zoom out to a high-level explanation. For me, winning in my career looks like working alongside a team of people who are just as excited about solving health technology problems as I am. I round out a team well- I “speak geek” with the subject matter experts and bring a depth of understanding when creating project strategies with leadership. The areas of medicine and health tech that have caught my attention recently are wearable devices, remote patient monitoring, and gene therapy. I’m interested in helping patients better understand and combat chronic disease, and these technologies have great potential for that goal.
