About Elizabeth Jones

I am a customer focused and passionate business data analyst; who is self-motivated and always willing to think outside the box. Working in the Health Insurance industry for the past 15 years has provided me with significant opportunities to learn and grow professionally. I started out as a Customer Service Professional taking phone calls from many Members and Providers to assist with navigating the challenging world of Health Insurance benefits and claims. I became a SME in the Inter-Plan Program claims and discovered a passion for researching complex problems and data analysis. I was then able to obtaining an Associate in Applied Science in Accounting, which has been very impactful to my business acumen and business process auditing skills. For the past 10 years of my tenure with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NC I continued on my data analysis journey where I was able to collaborate with many business stakeholders such as the Training, Leadership and Knowledge Management teams. By leveraging various performance data sets, and performing exploratory and root cause analysis, I lead communication sessions on actionable insights and recommendations for various process, performance and resource improvements for the call center.
