About Elizabeth Kell

User experience professional with substantial background in corporate and agency environments. Experienced in interviewing, hiring and mentoring talent, managing and growing a team of direct reports and managing up to an executive level audience. Past experience in marketing, sales and project management. Passionate about surfacing tacit and latent user needs through observation, finding patterns and insights, and telling compelling stories that humanize the experience and drive change. Specialties: Design and research management, information architecture, information design, visual design & typography, interaction design, user (behavioral) research (contextual inquiry, traditional usability testing, card sorting, diary studies, ethnography, etc.) design thinking and frameworks for analysis & synthesis. When I'm not working as a UX professional, I'm a classically-trained musician playing the flute and piccolo at a conservatory level. I perform with several local ensembles and am always interested in opportunities to collaborate and perform with other advanced/avid amateurs and professional musicians or ensembles.
