About Elizabeth Meadows

Agriculture is life. Growing up in rural Ohio meant showing steers, hauling hay, hoeing the garden, 4-H, county fairs, and camping. After a thirty-six-year career with USDA-Farm Service Agency, retirement seemed like a good idea, until I was retired for a few months. Ohio Department of Agriculture is a natural place for a part-time gig that allows me to stay involved with Ohio Ag producers and engaged in the industry I’m passionate about. I work best when I’m helping others find their path. Personal coaching, working with others as they explore career and life opportunities is a real passion of mine. I’m an avid flower and vegetable gardener. Feel free to ask me questions! My family still has a nice sized beef farm in Meigs County that I love! When I’m not at work, you can find me camping or jetting back and forth to see my grandchildren in Florida. Wherever I am, it’s safe to say I’m reading-another passion!
