Background
About Elizabeth Mullis
I’m an innovation and ecosystem builder with 25+ years’ experience translating research into impact across sustainability, materials, energy, physical sciences, cybersecurity, and quantum. My career has spanned engineering, academia, and industry partnerships — from advancing net-zero and sustainable materials initiatives to supporting deep-tech spinouts in cyber and quantum. Currently at Lancaster University, seconded to NW CyberCom, I secure funding, drive partnerships, and help early-stage ventures scale. I’m proud to be supporting Photarix, a startup pioneering quantum-secure communication. At the heart of my work is a commitment to inclusive innovation — ensuring that diverse talent has the opportunity to shape the technologies of the future. If you’re building something bold in cyber, quantum, or sustainability — or share a commitment to shaping a more inclusive innovation ecosystem — let’s connect.
