Elizabeth's album SPECTACLE has been accepted into the Library of Congress and four of her paintings / art pieces have been displayed in the galleries at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Art. Elizabeth Virginia Perry Burbey ventured briefly to New York City on scholarship to study at the prestigious Liberal Arts School Marymount College on Manhattan's Upper East Side, famous for alumni: Vice President Elect Geraldine Ferrara's attendance. Her most recent interest is in utilizing her skills as a sales representative, of which she has experience with two companies: LE FANION / ASTRAZINC and TALBOTS. The first company trained her to run a high-end antique store specializing in French Provencal Antiques and Crystal Chandeliers located in the charming West Village, New York City. The second corporation recognized for it's fine women's apparel, features an up-scale clothing boutique here at Eastchase in Montgomery, Alabama and is called TALBOTS. Elizabeth is very dedicated to business etiquette and has a great since of diplomacy and tact in all situations. She shines in any position and is willing to consider any and all fair job offers or career opportunities. Note that most recently she received the "Exemplary Commitment to Volunteerism" award two years in a row (2008, 2007) given by the Junior League of Montgomery and the Volunteer & Information Center, Inc- this past April 2008. Also, this spring Elizabeth received a letter from the White House that stated,"through service to others you demonstrate the outstanding character of America and help strengthen our country." The letter was accompanied by a certificate of "recognition and appreciation for making a difference through volunteer service" called "THE PRESIDENT'S VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD". She has been the president of the "Montgomery Art Guild" from 2006-2009 and was the designer and webmistress of their official website also designs graphics.
