About Elizabeth Pell

I have only seen.2% of the world, if I were to measure my travel experiences by cities. However, I've also seen vast deserts, winding jungles, endless mountain ranges, and great plains in my travels, so I guess my experience is difficult to quantify using a single metric. After graduating with a Bachelors in International Relations & Linguistics from Boston University focusing on regional politics in the Middle East-North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, I began working in customer service to further develop my effective communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. My time working in restaurants has refined my interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and capacity to work under pressure as well. In addition to my extensive experience in customer service, I also have spent time working with city government programs, interning with non-profits, and volunteering with advocacy groups. My employment history, though limited, is a compilation of diverse experiences that have allowed me to develop my passions in improving local communities by directly working with people and their communities.Similar to my job experience, my professional skills are constantly growing with my aspirations to learn new skills including anything from a new language, to a programming language for data science. I am constantly searching for opportunities to learn new skills, grow professionally, and gain new experiences. I compare my travel experience to that of my job experiences because I have so much to offer with an assortment of experiences and skills, and yet I aspire to continue growing my experiences and skills. I strive for an opportunity with an organization who assists people better their communities through policy and advocacy.
