About Elizabeth Rowe

I am an energetic and experienced certified HR professional with a holistic approach to managing people and the workforce. I have developed an international career working in diverse fields, countries and cultures, which provided an excellent understanding of leadership and management. As a corporate executive I gained my experience within the private sector and professional legal services market; I hold the position of Head of Human Resources, following positions as Human Resources Consultant and Executive Assistant for both national and international companies. The opportunity to travel extensively and work in Europe, the Middle East and Asia allowed me to develop an appreciation and sensitivity for corporate interactions in an international environment. This understanding of cultural sensitivity has strengthened my ability to manage diversity in the workplace and lead change. A proven track record of success in coaching, training, consulting and mentoring managers, individuals and teams, with a strong focus on building high performance teams, have generated my broad business background. The skills acquired through studies and disciplines of competitive sport have assisted me in motivating staff to initiate improvements to their health and wellbeing through corporate health initiatives. The results of these initiatives have seen an increase in staff morale, higher retention rates, and improved staff participation and cross departmental interaction. My involvement in various HR strategic initiatives has strengthened the human resources profile and relationship with staff across all levels, and positively impacted an organisation’s culture. Such achievements warranted the opportunity to be part of the finalists and Winner of Employer of Choice, Employee Health and Wellbeing and Highly Commended “Best HR Team” in the National HR Awards and Rob Goffee Leadership Development Award in the AHRI Awards.
