About Elizabeth Shank

Elizabeth graduated from San Diego State University in spring 2015 with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management. During her time at San Diego State University, she strived to become as involved as she could. She joined Kappa Delta Sorority Beta Rho Chapter in fall 2011 and held many appointed officer positions throughout her time as a collegiate member. One of her key positions was serving as Leadership Chair in which she ensured all chapter members were involved in at least one other campus organization and that at least a quarter of the chapter held a leadership position in those campus organizations. She provided information to the chapter on ways to be involved and a leader on campus in an effort to achieve those goals.She also became a member of Phi Eta Sigma while at SDSU and during that time served as treasurer and president of her chapter. In her position as treasurer, she managed all incoming member dues and reviewed applications for partial waivers for individuals with extenuating circumstances. She also helped plan and orchestrate chapter meetings and events. She served as president for the 2014-2015 school term. In her term as president she led the chapter and some of her key accomplishments were leading chapter officers to the national convention, rebooting the chapter scholarship program, managing the new member induction, and introducing an officer mentor program.
