About Elizabeth Walker

My career has always been centered around empowering people and fostering positive growth. From supporting classes at my local dance school as a teenager to training new recruits in the hospitality industry and assisting as a Legal PA, I’ve cultivated a passion for people management that led me to become a fully qualified teacher. In my current role, I’ve successfully delivered a 100% pass rate for all delegates across the last two years at GCSE and A Level, increased participation in the Duke of Edinburgh programme, and boosted conversion from the Silver to Gold course. Additionally, I organised and led a three-week international volunteering trip to Tanzania for 26 people, managing logistics, risk assessments, and learning outcomes, which resulted in a long-term strategic volunteering partnership. These experiences have allowed me to excel in building and managing positive relationships with diverse stakeholders. I’ve honed my skills as an influential mentor, while my strong organisational abilities and project management expertise have enabled me to develop and implement policies, manage compliance requirements, and deliver effective training programmes. I’m also highly proficient in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and related e-learning tools and I am a confident presenter. Currently pursuing the CIPD Level 5 Diploma in People Management, I’m eager to transition into a HR role where I can leverage my expertise in talent development, employee engagement, and organisational strategy to support business growth and enhance the employee experience.
