I am an innovation and communication strategist with Optum Serve's Enterprise Integration and Innovation Office. Optum Serve is a health care company first, tailoring our extensive expertise to help federal partners reach their goal of bettering health for those they serve. The Enterprise Integration and Innovation Office builds upon the public health and health equity strategy while forming deep connection points between Optum Serve and the broader UHG & Optum innovation and transformation efforts. As a part of the Enterprise Integration and Innovation team, I lead teams that create and consult on internal and external communications and innovation strategies. I believe in connection. At the core of everything I do is the belief the world can be changed with one conversation at a time. The power of words is something I have learned in my 30 years of experience in the music industry as an award winning songwriter and as a recording artist. I am fascinated by why people communicate the way that they do, and passionate about how I can help implement creative ways to effectively and appropriately open channels of deeper understandings and connections. As a life-long learner and a storyteller at heart, my passion is getting to the heart and soul of a brand, company, or individual and helping them tell their story and make lasting connections.
