Background
About Elize de Mul
Experienced researcher, writer and teacher. Currently working as a researcher for Radboud University Nijmegen, as part of a Comenius research project that focuses on the role of higher education in preparing our younger generations for facing the challenges of a rapidly changing world, due to the climate crisis. My individual research currently focuses on what I call 'border phenomena', such as food forests, which challenge rigid and persistent modernist thinking about humanity's place in the world and what we call 'nature'. Author of:'Onszelf voorbij - Kijken naar wat we liever niet zien'(2018) together with co-authors Lisa Doeland and Naomi Jacobs.'Dansen met een plastic zak - kleine filosofie van een onooglijk ding'(2013).
