About Ella Canavan

I am a current senior at the University of Michigan pursuing a degree in Sport Management with a minor in Law, Justice, and Social Change. On campus, I am the President of the Michigan Sport Business Association—a student organization dedicated to connecting, educating, and inspiring the future "leaders and best" of sport. This past summer I had the opportunity to intern in Global Partnership Sales at Oak View Group where I prospected potential partners and researched a number of emerging sponsorship categories. Prior to this role, I also worked as a Sports Marketing Intern at New Era Cap where I improved social media strategies and increased engagement with MLB social and digital assets. My leadership experiences combined with my positive attitude and willingness to learn have prepared me to pursue a career in the sport industry.
