About Ella Hamilton

I graduate from La Trobe University, Bendigo in 2022 with a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy degree. I previously have worked in retail and customer service for 5 years prior to completing my degree working at both Jumpz Trampoline Park and Spendless Shoes where I have gained communication and time management skills. I am a hard worker with excellent organisational and communication skills. I always do my best and set goals to work to a very high standard. I love working in teams but I can also work well independently. I am very passionate about health care as it is a very important job for both the community and society as a whole. I have wanted to be a physiotherapist for many years and have worked hard throughout school to get closer to reaching this goal.I aim to work in either musculoskeletal or neurological physiotherapy when I complete my degree and am interested in working in rural areas. In rural areas it can be difficult for all individuals to access health care and as a result of this people in these areas are more likely to have poorer health outcomes. Because of this, I want to improve access to health care by working rurally where I can not only treat patients but also educate communities which is important in improving both individuals and community health.
