Inspiring a Revolution in your Evolution! Rebel Thriver was born in the midst of a very dark time in my life. Domestic violence had left me isolated, scared, and completely lost. My life had been ripped out from underneath me and I needed to start over, but I didn’t know how. I desperately needed connection with other women who could understand what I had experienced and who spoke a common language. I didn’t know any other survivors so I turned to social media. My goal was simple. I wanted to help one person a day. Quickly, I learned that when we connect with others who share similar traumatic experiences, powerful medicine can begin to take root. That was over a decade ago. Today I am a certified trauma and mindfulness coach as well as the executive director of Rebel Thriver, a nonprofit movement. Our mission is to provide a roadmap to recovery from domestic violence, support survivors’ healing, and smash the stigma of this epidemic. We provide private online community support, workshops, retreats, mentoring, and small group life coaching through the Rebel Thriver Village. We have an integrated approach to treating trauma through education and advocacy that aims to shift the way the public views domestic violence.
