Ella Nugent is a Master of Health Science (M.HSc) graduate from Western University where she specialized in Health Equity and Sustainability. She brings experience across both the healthcare sector and applied research, working at the intersection of health systems, policy, and equity. With hands-on experience in community and public health, particularly in chronic disease management, social determinants of health, and health system navigation, Ella is passionate about using research as a tool to advance health equity. Her work spans knowledge translation, stakeholder engagement, and the evaluation of systemic health initiatives. Ella is committed to conducting meaningful, equity-informed research and translating evidence into action both at the policy level and in practice. She’s always eager to collaborate and connect with others working towards more inclusive, effective health systems.
