It might sound like a cliche, but for me a job half done is as good as none. I take pride in my work, always striving to do my best, it represents my effort and how much I care, both personally and professionally. My experience has evolved within SME environments where I handled a range of responsibilities, from hands-on accounting tasks to strategic planning and implementation of systems and processes to improve efficiency. As well as performing various financial duties I was also supporting Directors and company stakeholders at all levels. I provide an exceptional standard of service with diligence, passion and high work ethics, “a life saver” as commented by my previous boss. I am adept at managing and developing a team, maintaining wellbeing and a positive working environment. I have a dynamic hands-on working style with strong interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour, able to work autonomously or as part of a team. With a long standing track record of delivering results, I am confident that my adaptive personality, transferable skills, and professional competence will be a great asset to any business. My professional skills within Finance and Accounting include expertise in Accounts payable and Accounts receivable, VAT including partial exemption, transactional accounting, reconciliation, journals, month-end/year-end processes, management accounts, financial reporting, credit control, manual bookkeeping, payroll, team management and leadership. I have sound knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations, plus strong commercial and business awareness.
