About Ella Trask

I am passionate about the positive impact of the hands-on educational experiences children and their families have at children's museums. After spending several years working in early childhood development, a career transition led me to the Buell Children's Museum and ignited a desire to further my career in the field. While working full-time, I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies through Colorado State University Online. My current role is as the Operations Manager for the Buell Children's Museum located at the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center in Pueblo, Colorado. We are a small museum serving Pueblo and our surrounding counties within Southern Colorado. My duties include supervising our floor staff, managing birthday parties, and facilitating school tours. In addition, I contribute to exhibit development, creation, and installation. My prior work experience includes 10 years in the field of early childhood education and childcare. I have worked both privately as a nanny and in child development centers, where I primarily provided care for infants and children under two.
