I am an attorney with a strong background in transactional Art Law including contract drafting and copyright and trademark issues, from IP clearance to registration. As an associate, I also practice civil litigation including breach of contract claims, insurance defense, and dependency cases. Before entering the legal field, I completed MA studies in Art Law, Curation, Collection Management, and Fine Art Appraisal. I also functioned as a researcher and copy editor in both the Advertising and Executive Search industries. These experiences prepared me to be adaptable and successful. Since my ceramics BFA, I also never stopped making art. It’s my first love and I am grateful I can continue to dedicate a portion of my legal career to working with other artists.
