I am a student at Auburn University majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Business Analytics. Some say that my major means I have no idea what I want to go into, but it is the complete opposite. I want to learn everything. I want to experience all aspects of the business field, and I am excited to grow in my professional career and connect with more individuals upon my graduation in May 2025. Analytics is becoming increasingly important to me also; The breakdown of data is something I enjoy studying and dissecting. I am aware that this is an up-and-coming field, and I am excited to be a part of it. Minoring in this subject, I know that analytics increases everyone's productivity and inspires us to be prepared and know better. In my past internship at CAC Agency, I was immersed into the insurance world as an Employee Benefits Intern. Within a month, I learned about medical insurance, the compliance involved, and the vast amount of claims data that is required as a insurance broker. With an Account Executive as my mentor, I saw all of the work that was required for each client and the care they took for them. I reached out to the analytical team at CAC Agency, and I was given multiple projects to work on. This was exciting for me since I was able to use information from my analytics courses and contribute to the company. At the end of a successful internship, I was offered to extend my internship and work part-time during my last two semesters of college in the Financial Analytics department, and I accepted. I am looking forward to learning more as I begin this position and I am excited to contribute to CAC Agency.
