About Elle Doherty

I am a Community Health Manager at GSK with over four years of experience in health promotion, project management, and stakeholder engagement. I hold a Master of Public Health (Health Promotion), a BSc (Health Promotion), a Post-Graduate Diploma in Health Services Administration and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Sport and Recreation Management. In my current role, I leverage my diverse background and expertise to cultivate transformative partnerships with post-secondary institutions across Canada, increasing awareness and prevention of Meningitis B among a high-risk population. I also identify and develop creative access pathways to increase vaccination access for young adults, and collaborate with key stakeholders across the Meningitis B landscape to strengthen vaccination policy, access, and support. Previously, I worked as a Health Educator at York Region, where I drove the success of a diverse portfolio of programs and projects within the Health Protection division, ensuring the highest standards of public health for York Region residents. I also championed innovative social marketing strategies that effectively translated knowledge to target populations and delivered comprehensive programs that achieved measurable objectives. My mission is to pioneer a holistic approach to preventative health, uniting diverse perspectives and infusing a health promotion lens into the pharmaceutical landscape. I am passionate about advancing population health outcomes and creating positive change in the communities I serve.
