About Elle Stevens

I am a dynamic, caring and creative professional seeking a challenging position in which my experience and abilities will compliment personal and employer growth, as well as, make a difference in the lives of others. Due to my strong interest in the stories of others, I obtained my bachelors degree in sociology and my masters in counseling. I also attended a journalism program in Portland, Maine called Salt Institute for Documentary studies. I learned to find and capture stories through writing, photography and multimedia. I have continued this journey working on personal projects and freelancing for magazines/blogs. Over the years, I have learned how to get stories and products noticed through social media. Through exploring my own small business alongside my sister and by using an innovative mindset in conjunction with positive and strategic marketing, I have learned how to successfully engage our customers across all social media platforms. In addition to following a strategic mindset, I utilize my photography skills to create unique content for social media. Most recently, through my full time job as a Senior Administrative Assistant at Yale University, I have sharpened my administraive skills as I am responsible for assisting nine professors, coordinating events, booking travel arrangements, completing expensive reports, reimbursements, webdesign and updating our departemtents social media platforms. With my compassionate personality, love for creativity, superb people skills and sound administrative skills, I feel like I am a desirable candidate looking for interesting opportunities.
