About Elle Wiltermuth

I have 25+ years of public service as a veteran, educator, and musician. At 19, I was stationed at Schofield Bks. in Oahu, Hawaii, where I served with the 25th Infantry Division Band. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters in Music Education. My first public school teaching position was at Chaparral High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. After 2 years, I accepted a 6-12 Music Director position with Eagle Valley High School in Minnesota. After teaching choir, band, and classroom music, I accepted a position as a graduate assistant for the University of Minnesota Duluth athletic and wind band ensembles. After, completing a degree in Master's in Music Education, I accepted a K-8 music educator and para-professional position at School Craft Expeditionary Learning Communities in Bemidji, Minnesota. During my 3 years of developing, implementing, and teaching music within an expeditionary-modeled education focus, I accepted a position at Santa Fe Public Schools in New Mexico. In New Mexico, I recently completed 10 years of service as an orchestra, band, and classroom music educator for the Santa Fe Public Schools. I have recently accepted a teaching contract with the River Valleys Unified School District and West River Modified Union Educational District in Vermont.
