Background

About Ellen Bari

I curate ideas and content by turning complex concepts into innovative experiences that transform children and adults. Human-centered design is a foundational principle that guides me in the development of exhibitions. Experiences I’ve curated have included IMAX style displays, virtual and built environments, interactive settings using old-school and leading edge technologies and high-touch elements. With a clear vision of the medium and message, I find the right collaborators, resources and tools for every project. My dream teams have included award-winning writers, artists, filmmakers and illustrators, working alongside herpetologists, clergy, historians or cultural anthropologists, all in the service of delivering stellar, authentically engaging experiences for young and old audiences alike. Although I direct large scale projects, I also enjoy working collaboratively as a writer and content strategist and developer. Skills:* Curation and development of interactive and immersive exhibitions and experiences * Writing and editorial, specializing in books and exhibitions for young people and their * families * Content strategy and development * Product conceptualization and development
