About Ellen Cobb
I began my journey in Graduate School at MTSU in 2012, pursuing my MSW with a focus on trauma. I am also incredibly passionate about bereavement and Pediatric Oncology. I am a member of NASW and a part of the Nashville Chapter. I have been involved with Hospice as well as the Children's Center for the Medical Center Hospital, which is where I completed a practicum for my undergraduate degree in Columbus, GA. I also spent time volunteering for Big Brother Big Sister in the school-based program. While living in Brentwood, I attended and received training in: Darkness to Light- child sexual abuse Empowered to Connect- children from hard places/adoptions/attachment disorders Cancer Caregiving I currently live in Columbus, GA and co-own Novo Fitness Studio, focusing on mindbody methods in fitness and empowering women to change their bodies.
