About Ellen Crane

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences in California (LCS 27510) and the Tennessee Board of Social Workers (LCSW 7212). The majority of my experience comes from working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. I am interested in long-term treatment and the best practices for assisting these individuals in maintaining stability and enjoyment in their lives. I currently operate a small telehealth private practice. I additionally have a strong passion for the outdoors. I completed a thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail, which allowed me to reconnect with nature and myself. I am looking to combine my passion for the outdoors with my love of social work. I aim to do this by assisting others in identifying barriers to outdoor engagement and problem-solving ways through these barriers. I am able to do this, in part, by being the Visual Sales Lead for REI in Brentwood, TN.
