About Ellen Doms

Over the course of the last few years, I've acquired skills in various IT domains: functional analysis, UI/UX design, product management and front-end development. Expertise in each of these fields is required when developing virtually any digital product, and it is usually distributed across multiple people in an organization. Design and development specifically are usually two departments separated by skill. I believe that with my background I became the bridge between them, where I feel that I understand what drives both teams. My preferred role is situated in front-end development with a focus on UX/UI: I have a passion for translating designs pixel-perfect into code, and find true magic in bringing mockups alive for the user. I also specialized in specific topics such as accessibility and design systems, where I see added value in a supporting role to help accelerating the team in developing a successful and scalable digital product. I’ve actively collaborated on creating several successful products and like to read up on the matter as well. I believe that having me on board will get you a trusty development resource on the one hand, but also a soundboard for your product roadmap and strategy.
