Ellen receives great satisfaction from using her expertise and experience in serving her customers and clients during times of transition. She expertly guides them through the process of buying or selling a home. Working under the Sotheby’s International Realty brand, Ellen continues to strive for excellence in service and professionalism that has been her commitment for thirty years. Ellen is currently the 2018-2019 President of the Bronx Manhattan North Association of Realtors. Ellen Feld received the 2014 Realtor of the Year Award from the Bronx Manhattan North Assn of Realtors. Her real estate career began in 1985 and she became a broker in 1987. An active member of BMAR since Ellen has earned the GRI designation and has received the Platinum Club Award having earned more than 10 multi-million dollar awards. In 2009, Ellen joined Exclusive Properties Sotheby’s Int'l Realty in the task of opening the office as a start-up. She has been an Associate Broker with Exclusive Properties Sotheby’s International Realty ever since. In 2002 Ellen received BMAR’s Community Leadership Award for her work with NAR’s Realtors Housing Relief Fund. For three months she brought checks for rent, maintenance and mortgage payments to the families of those who lost family members on 9/11/2001. She personally delivered financial aid and consoled over 25 families. In 2010 Ellen was key in creating the South Riverdale Ave Merchants Assn and was its first president. For four times Ellen has served multi-year terms as president of the Benjamin Franklin Reform Democratic Club. Her previous professional activities have included U S Senate and Democratic Nat'l Committee staff, chief of staff for Bronx Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz, and positions with the American Jewish Committee and Boston University’s Human Relations Laboratory. Ellen was Administrator of the New York Society for Ethical Culture.
