I’m a former talent management professional with 5+ years of recruiting experience across multiple industries. I’m currently pursuing my law degree at Albany Law School.I advise companies and grow teams on their talent strategies using a consultative, relationship building approach with all levels of leadership, from the front line to the senior team. When it comes to my own team, I empower and motivate through education. You would often see me in a restaurant supporting my team as opposed to behind a computer screen. It allows for real-time problem solving and coaching in the moment. Analyzing trends and data allows me to identify patterns and offer deep insights to the leaders I support. With that information in hand, I advise on courses of action when it comes to decisions about the candidate search, and approaches to budget, timing and execution. Communication is a passion for me, whether face-to-face or in writing; I find it easy to influence and persuade people towards action. By breaking down the needs of hiring managers to understand the skill sets necessary to excel, in combination with appropriate soft skills, I was able to grow an above-restaurant leadership team by ~10% with a 90% retention rate. Additionally, I increased hourly staffing by 15% companywide in the span of 14 weeks through process simplification and creative sourcing tactics. Though HR isn’t a revenue generating department, both approaches positively impacted the bottom line.
