About Ellen Gamble

I am a driven, organised, ambitious, and hard-working individual who is passionate about social issues, international affairs, relations, and development. I have over five years of experience working for NGOs and built excellent programme management and coordination experience in both national and international contexts delivering programmes in disability, youth, mental health and gender equality. In addition, I have experience in successfully fundraising and developing marketing campaigns for charities. I started my career as an intern for the United Nations in Beirut, afterwards I moved to London in 2018. Since then, I have built my career through progressive programme and coordinator roles and I have worked for the British Youth Council, Mind, UK Community Foundation and now as Programmes Director for an international disability NGO Walkabout Foundation. I'm now looking to continue to develop my experience in the for international NGOs, corporate social responsibility, and grow my experience in policy and advocacy work. Outside of work, I love to travel, enjoy cooking and fitness, and I'm trying to learn French.
