About Ellen Hartman

As a managing consultant in the information technology, archives and library field with over 15 years experience, I work closely with libraries worldwide to help them streamline their back-office workflows and engage more closely with their end-users. With my experience as a trainer I'm a strategic sparring partner for libraries wanting to improve the services they offer to their users. I manage a team of 6 experienced consultants in Europe and ANZ and I'm responsible for their further development as well as coordinating international activities of the team. As an accomplished presenter and storyteller I speak about key issues in the library and information sector at international conferences and events. I love bringing stories to life and to empower librarians to take the lessons they learned back to their library. I'm passionate about the future of libraries and an advocate for young librarians.
