About Ellen Higgins

I am an Associate Director of Finance at Fox School of Business at Temple University, where I have been working for over 18 years. I have a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management and more than 20 years of experience in business and financial operations in the higher education and healthcare sectors. My core competencies include overseeing financial operations and budgets for schoolwide programs, managing over 100 cost centers that reflect over $30M in revenue and expenses, and ensuring accountability and spending guidelines. I also serve as the scholarship administrator for the entire school, creating and implementing internal processes to adhere to timely administration of approximately 300+ funding sources for Fox students and working closely with admissions and development departments to meet donor restrictions and guidelines. Additionally, I am passionate about process improvement and compliance, relationship building and collaboration, training and teaching business practices and ethics to staff and students. I am a results-oriented, self-directed, and responsible professional who strives to achieve business objectives and support the mission and vision of Fox School.
