EJ is an international model, speaker and changemaker whose life and career revolve around one powerful theme: transformation. Her journey began in entrepreneurship, where she founded Cheappower4u, a successful energy company she still runs today. After publishing her autobiography Eindelijk Ellen, she inspired countless professionals with her story of authentic leadership. That chapter has now made room for something new: a bold focus on creativity, fashion and storytelling under her personal brand EJ The Label. What started as a childhood dream became reality when EJ became the face of the Italian fashion brand Christia, with her first international shoots in Bologna and Prague marking the start of a remarkable modeling career. In 2025, she took the stage at the Mallorca Power Days and walked her first international runway show, affirming her presence in the world of high fashion. EJ’s transformation is more than professional, it is deeply personal. From living a life that did not fully reflect who she was, to stepping into the world as her most authentic self, she embodies what it means to follow your truth. Today, through EJ The Label, she blends fashion, writing and public speaking into one vision: empowering others to embrace authenticity and self-expression. She is currently co-authoring her new book EJ: Becoming Iconic, a raw and real reflection on her journey from struggle to self-expression and the path toward living authentically. Beyond fashion and storytelling, EJ remains committed to impact. Through her foundation Ellen Cares for Africa, she funds the construction of water wells in underserved communities. 100% of the proceeds from her autobiography support this mission.
