I am a seasoned nonprofit Executive Director for the Waunakee Area Chamber of Commerce. I have a proven track record of driving organizational growth and fostering economic vitality within the Waunakee/Westport community. 20 plus years of experience in community work with an outgoing leadership style, and ability to manage a nonprofit chamber with over 300 members and a paid staff. I excel at building strategic partnerships, managing resources, and leading diverse teams to achieve ambitious goals. My expertise lies in advocating for local businesses, enhancing community development, and delivering programs and events that drive economic progress and bring people together. Throughout my tenure, I have fostered successful fundraising efforts, and membership growth and sponsorships. The Waunakee Chamber of Commerce has grown each year and is a highly respected organization for business professionals to be a part of. Many new events have been added which have been a significant boost in community engagement. Efforts have directly contributed to growth of small businesses and strengthened the local economy. My role as a community advocate and collaborator has shown a commitment to fostering a thriving community and have built lasting relationships with business owners, local government officials, and community leaders, ensuring the Chamber remains a vital resource for growth and innovation. Looking ahead to the future, I aim to further position the Waunakee Chamber of Commerce as a cornerstone of innovation and collaboration, supporting businesses and enhancing the quality of life for all residents. Recent recipient of the Waunakee Community Outstanding Business Person of the Year in 2023. Proud 18 year member of the Waunakee Rotary Club, and a Member of the Waunakee Community Cares Coalition.
