About Ellen Klassen
I am a Certified Master Coach Practitioner, a Reiki/Spiritual Practitioner, and a Registered Nurse (RN) with 40+ years of experience. My formal education began with a Diploma RN, then a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing with Distinction, with a focus in mental health, palliative care and communication. My Masters of Leadership focused on communication within teams and conflict. I maintained continued education through my RN Associatation, Crisis & Trauma Resource Institute, and Crucial Conversation program. My experience spans hospital care, primary care, community/public health, isolated cross cultural care, and a Director of Nursing in a rural hospital. One of my personal goals in my nursing career was to bring nursing education to northern Saskatchewan. I have taught the Practical Nursing program and remain teaching in the Nursing Degree program with the University of Saskatchewan.
