I currently work as an Accountant I, handling tasks such as accounts payable, receivable, vendor management, cash posting, and journal entries. I’m reliable with transactional accounting processes and enjoy work that is structured, detail-oriented, and independent. I’m pursuing a Master of Science in Accountancy (expected Dec 2025) with a focus on data analytics because I’m very interested in how accounting and finance intersect with Python, data science, and AI—especially in the insurance and financial sectors. As part of my coursework, I’m collaborating on a team project using Python (NumPy, Pandas, Seaborn, Matplotlib) in JupyterLab to analyze Lending Club data. We’re applying basic machine learning techniques to predict investment outcomes and risk, which has been challenging but exciting. I’ve also started using Tableau and found it to be a powerful and engaging tool for data visualization. I am still early in this learning journey, but I’m motivated to keep growing and applying these tools in real-world financial environments. My long-term goal is to move into a role where I can support data-driven decision-making in finance or insurance, ideally in a setting that values focus, logic, and minimal social pressure.
