About Ellen Oneal

Inside and outside of work, I am dedicated to educational advancement for all students. I manage the Patricia Frist Memorial Scholarship, a scholarship award which provides scholarships for HCA Healthcare employees’ dependents, as well as other educational programs run by the HCA Healthcare Foundation. I lead HCA Healthcare’s Metro Nashville Public Schools partnerships - advancing the business engagement and talent pipeline with eight Academies of Nashville to ensure that equitable and comprehensive hands-on engagement opportunities are provided to all students. I lead the company in helping the thousands of students served by the partnership reach important milestones in career development at each grade level. I serve as an Advisory Board Chair, on the Academies of Nashville A-Team, as a MNPS Career Exploration Fair Chair, and on the Partnership Council led by the Nashville Chamber of Commerce as a Co-Chair of the Health and Public Service sector and on the guiding team.Outside of work, I support additional educational outreach programs in the community through donations and memberships to Nashville Public Radio, the Belcourt Theatre, Cheekwood Botanical Gardens, the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, and the Nashville Ballet.I was honored as a Nashville Emerging Leader Award Finalist in 2020.
