About Ellen Rettig

In a team, the WE is particularly important to me. Because I do not care who achieves what in concrete terms; the main thing is that we move forward. I have always been on the move, because nothing is worse than standing still. That is why I also like to try out new things and jump into cold and unknown waters. I have done that many times and I have always learned that we get much further when we leave our comfort zone. I can only recommend this, because it is also a lot of fun. My urge to change and improve things through entrepreneurial thinking and action has always been very strong. Above all, I would like to implement the topic of sustainability through technical innovations in companies that are still very much driven by numbers and results, which I like to view as a large whole. I am always struck by how one-dimensional we are in our business activities. After all, it is not just about economic aspects, but also ecological and social aspects that we have to take into account in order to find a sustainable and responsible way of dealing with our resources. I think there is no alternative for us to create and connect TOGETHER. Maybe that is also the reason why I laugh a lot with my team - it connects us and strengthens each individual. It is important to me to proactively approach people and ask my questions. Questions that point the way for my team and me to move forward as effectively as possible. Before we get lost, I weigh different paths and then follow my intuition - always trusting that it will keep going. And it does, always.
