About Ellen Robinson

Currently working as a staff Senior Operations Geologist in the Subsurface Well Delivery Team at Harbour Energy. Experience with drilling HPHT, Extreme ERD, Geosteered and depleted wells in the UKCS. I graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2013 at the top of my class with an MSc with Commendation in Petroleum Exploration from the exploHUB training center where I also achieved the "Explorationist of the Year 2013" Award. I find working in a team extremely rewarding and enjoy the aspects of learning and sharing new skills between team members of different backgrounds, cultures and ages. I have a passion for geology and petrophysics and am always looking for opportunities to enhance my knowledge and skills in those areas as well as facing the challenges of the Oil and Gas industry. I have a wide range of software experience with the major G&G packages which includes Petrel, Landmark R500/DSG, Geologix, ArcGIS, Techlog, Target, ipoint, Petrosys, Sharepoint and the MS Office package and I am a quick study and a fast learner. I am always open to new experiences and challenges and look to enrich my experience both in the industry and in life. I am very commited to being involved with young people and aspire to take my knowledge and enthusiasm of the Oil and Gas industry and Geology to students in schools. I am a member of both the Aberdeen Formation Evaluation Society and the PESGB.
