Bachelor of Science: Health Promotion - Curtin University 2017 I currently work as a Health Promotion Officer with the WA Country Health Service based in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia. I work in the fields of Maternal, Child & Adolescent Health, Chronic Disease Prevention & Management, Tobacco Control, Public Health & Communicable Disease, Mental Health and Aboriginal Health. I work across the Southern Wheatbelt and engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to implement health initiatives. I possess skills in program facilitation, program development, planning, implementation, evaluation, community engagement and harm, supply and demand minimisation. My primary portfolio areas include; tobacco control, physical activity & nutrition, child development and mental health & wellbeing. My passion is to help individuals and communities achieve optimal health and wellbeing and address disparities. In addition to my work with WACHS, I teach casually as a group fitness instructor qualified in Les Mills SPRINT and BODYPUMP programs. This role allows me to further my passion in health and fitness and work alongside the community providing empowerment.
