Followed a winding career path to merge all of my previous experience into something I love: supporting the efforts of the social work community to stay engaged with the latest best practices and sharing the amazing stories of the LSU School of Social Work! Began this path as a social worker with experience in non-profit program management, focused on indirect practice, foster home development, and child and family reunification services. Spent 12 great years as a records analyst gaining experience in guiding and promoting a records management program in a government setting. Soaked up some healthcare knowledge in a hospital education department offering support for employees in many fields and running a first class new employee orientation program.
